Holding concerts in any parts of the country, considers as “enmity against God,” warned Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader in the city of Mashhad and a member of the country’s Assembly of Experts (the body that chooses the supreme leader.) The state-run ILNA news agency on May 26 quoted Alamolhoda as saying “Holding concerts and playing music in all parts of the country if it is abnormal, is a sin and promotes corruption and enmity against god.”
